A celebrated figure in the Australian performing arts scene, Tyrone Anthony has become synonymous with excellence in his field. Hailing from Wodonga, this dynamic talent recognised early on that pursuing his passion required a journey beyond hometown borders.

After five transformative years in Melbourne, Tyrone’s international odyssey began in 2014, landing a principal role with the Walt Disney Company. His portrayal of Gaston enchanted audiences throughout South East Asia with Disney Live!, marking the initiation of a stellar global career.

In 2015, Tyrone Anthony graced the seas as a Principal Dancer & Aerialist onboard Royal Caribbean International vessels, showcasing his versatility and captivating audiences with his dynamic performances.

A pivotal moment in Tyrone’s career unfolded in 2016 when he secured a contract with the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris. Rapidly ascending to the role of Can Can Soloist, he etched his mark in the cabaret’s history by performing a standout solo for the Moulin Rouge’s 130th Birthday Celebration. Paris served as a launching pad for Tyrone’s international ventures, involving modelling and dancing for PUMA in Germany, performances with Rudimental in London, and frequent appearances as a dancer for GR Presents, a luxury entertainment house in London.

Returning to Australia in 2019, Tyrone Anthony assumed the role of Principal Male Dancer in Opera Australia’s 2019/2020 Season of Faust at the Arts Centre Melbourne & The Sydney Opera House.

The challenges of 2020 did not deter Tyrone’s momentum, as he embraced a new chapter with a contract at Royal Palace International Music Hall in Kirrwiller, France.

Homecoming in 2021, Tyrone led the first Australian national audition tour for Royal Palace, expanding his portfolio to include directing and choreographing creative concept videos.

He also joined the cast of Cabaret De Paris, sharing the stage with the iconic Rhonda Burchmore. Kicking off 2022 as Dance Captain for Boyd Productions Circus of Illusion, Tyrone is set to tour as Dance Captain for Rhonda Burchmore’s Glamazonia Tour.

As of 2023, Tyrone Anthony continues to make waves, participating in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with “Beats On Pointe” by Masters of Choreography and serving as a guest entertainer on Happag Lloyd Cruise Liners with Masters of Choreography. He graced the Broken Heel Festival alongside Rhonda Burchmore and participated in the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival for Kmart.

With a decade of diverse industry experience spanning the globe, Tyrone Anthony stands as a seasoned professional in the realms of dance and choreography, leaving an indelible mark on stages worldwide.

CHOREOGRAPHY

From a young age Tyrone Anthony began expressing himself and his love for storytelling through his choreography. Throughout his career to date, he has choreographed for countless companies and performers within the industry.

Highlights include the 2020 Christmas & New Years Eve promotional campaigns for Royal Palace International Music Hall in France, Legally Blonde JR – Newsies JR – A Chorus Line Teen Edition for the Performing Artist Company, his own piece in the annual Moulin Rouge Galette & a piece for the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

In 2016 Tyrone Anthony produced, cast, directed, choreographed & staged his own show AMORE. AMORE is an intimate cabaret of love, not just the kind of love you read about in fairy tales, but the love you need to live. With handsome male dancers, beautiful showgirls and breathtaking circus artistry, AMORE opened to raving reviews. Tyrone Anthony had a goal to produce a show for the whole family, that left the audience sining from their seats and feeling the love in the air.

Tyrone Anthony has had the privilege of assisting some of Australia’s premier choreographers, on the likes of the Melbourne Storm Street Crew, Shared Tables Gala, Ferrari Club Australia Gala Ball, the artists of Spectrum Talent, performances for Southern Beat Productions & corporate events for Fame Agenda.

In 2023 Tyrone Anthony put his Production hat on again and created his own show The Convent.
